Think on These Things!

Have you ever heard the saying “You are what you eat”? Well as believes we are WHAT WE THINK. What we constantly think about, penetrates our hearts and thus affects our behavior. With all that is happening in the world today, it is easy to be drawn away, it is easy for us to be driven by every contrary wind. Negativity surrounds us, and the enemy uses this to try and defeat us. There is a constant battle for our minds. It was Joyce Myer who wrote the book on “The Battlefield of the Mind”.  The enemy will send thoughts of doubt, fear and failure. But in Matthew 6:25 – 34 the Bible says “TAKE NO THOUGHT SAYING”.  We don’t have to accept the thoughts!

Lastly, it is important for us to know that there is a way for us to defeat the enemy before even tries. In Philippians, Paul admonishes the believers to think on things that are pure, true or a good report. We are further encouraged to meditate on God’s word day and night. With our minds and hearts full of God’s Word, Promises and Testimonies of His greatness, the thoughts that the enemy send would be OF NO EFFECT!

Meditate on these things…Selah.

This is the day!

This is the day that the Lord had made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

One of the things we should always remember is that today is a day that God has given us to accomplish. Accomplish what you ask? Accomplish all that God has set forth for us in this day. I know your very next question will be how do I know what it is that God has for me to do today? Ask Him, only God can lead you in each day that is given to you. Also search His Word. He has already given us an abundance of instructions that some of us have yet to walk in. It is for us to do. The bible says that we should not be hearers of the word only but DOERS also.

So let’s crack on! Let’s get to work! Let’s move forward in faith believing! Let us accomplish!

James 1: 22 – 25
